Welcome
to Guidelines for Evaluating
Web Enhanced Lessons
This online tutorial is designed to assist educators
in evaluating existing web enhanced lessons and to provide guidance
in the development of their own online lessons. It introduces a
set of guidelines that incorporate learning theory with principles
of technology and interface design to address lessons for complete
or partial delivery using the World Wide Web.
Here we will introduce the Guidelines for Evaluating
Web Enhanced Lessons and the theories and principles behind them.
We will also provide an evaluation sheet based on the Guidelines
which can be applied to existing web enhanced lessons or used in
conjunction with the creation of new online modules. This rubric
will also be useful should one decide to strengthen or enhance an
existing online educational module for use with learners.

and highly skilled careers,
- provide college and career success skills,
- prepare students to select a college,
- provide comprehensive staff development,
- reduce student/teacher isolation, and
- provide equitable access to technologies.
